Alternative to E84 retrofitting

Many process machines in older 200mm factories are not equipped with E84 components. Retrofitting is usually very costly. For safe, automated machine loading, however, a kind of handshake between mobile robots and the load ports of the machines is unavoidable. Here, the “Wi-Fi E84” software solution offers a cost-effective alternative. Using “Wi-Fi E84”, communication between the robot and the load port is made possible indirectly via database access.
